*Lee wandered out of town again heading straight for the nearest patch of grass. Once again it was an Ekans, summoning his Skarmory immediately and let it deal with the pest.* Go Skar! *Skarmory made the first movement for attacking, pecking the little Ekans on it's neck. Ekans quickly countered with a uneffective wrap and once again got a sharp beak in it's side, once free of Ekans Skar made to peck the Ekans again, it tried to move it's head away, but only allowed Skar to peck at it's already bruised neck harshly.
The Ekans seemed to be suffering more than skar and looked as if it was almost done, attempting to use wrap again. Skar simply pecked at the Ekans until it released him and the little snake slumped to the floor unconcious.
Good Job mate.
Returning the little bird to his pokeball and it's place on his belt, wandering back into town considering the ruins the better place for a challenge.

Khia wandered back into Route 2, thinking back to what Nurse Joy had said about her pushing her team too hard. With a sigh, she released Ray from his Pokeball, took a seat on the back next to him and stared into the morning sky. ''I'm not pushing you too hard, am I?'' she said, patting Ray gently on the head. Ray floated over and settled himself on her lap, enjoying the attention. ''Dum!'' he said, shaking his head. Khia smiled; Ray was heavy, but she didn't mind. She was just happy that she wasn't being overly... 'trainerish' with him.

She sighed again, glancing at the other Pokeball on her belt. ''You think Ren will come around any time soon?'' ''Dum.'' Beldum replied adamantly. She was just about to release Ren from her Pokeball, when a Skorupi ran clean over her outstretched leg, startling her.

''Argh!'' Khia said, rolling away. Beldum floated upwards, then instantly went into a takedown, not waiting on Khia's orders. He knew that his partner Khia had been wanting to add such a Pokemon to their team, and was happy to help out. By the time Khia had retrieved Ren's Pokeball (which had rolled away during the confusion), Skorupi had retaliated to Ray's attack with a well-placed bite. Ray launched himself into a tree, dislodging the Pokemon from his back, then used takedown again to almost faint the Skorupi... almost.

''Steady now Ray! I'm gonna throw a Pokeball!'' Khia said, unhooking an empty one from her kimono belt. Ray swiftly moved out of the way as the empty Pokeball was thrown, and he watched with interest as the ball twitched three times and finally stilled.

Arriving with the intent to do some training, Meiun called out both his Pokemon to decide which one should start first. "Hmmm, how about you Shinx? We haven't had the chance to get to know each other yet, what do you say?" he said thoughtfully. Shinx looked at him, then looked at Bagon who was nodding at him and then looked back at Meiun, appeared to give it some thought and accepted with a decisive "Shinx!". Meiun called Bagon back into her Pokeball and wondered if this was to see if he was a capable enough trainer to train Shinx. Almost as soon as they stepped into the grass a Patrat appeared possibly trying to protect its territory but Shinx was on the ball and jumped in there and started eyeing up Patrat. Shinx's fierce glare seemed to intimidate the Patrat and taking the initiative Meiun shouted "Tackle it Shinx" and Shinx wasted no time in running in to collide with Patrat sending it backwards, but it seemed to recover quickly and returned the favour by tackling Shinx, but it didn't seem to do much damage. Meiun surmised that it was due to Shinx intimidating Patrat and decided to take advantage of it by sending Shinx in to tackle Patrat again "Shiiiiiiinx!" he shouted as he hit Patrat with a powerful tackle, that seemed to end that fight. Meiun congratulated Shinx on a job well done. As he did this, he noticed Shinx seemed to be quite a prideful Pokemon, he decided to mentally note this as it could probably help him later.

Continuing training Dex and Scamp head deeper into the grassy area looking for another adversary. Searching high and low when suddenly a wild pokemon darted out in front of them.

Meiun decided to let Bagon have a go at training, so he called back Shinx to his Pokeball in a flash of red light and released Bagon from her Pokeball, as soon as she came out she began jumping and flapping her arms trying to fly again. Meiun coughed to get her attention and she turned round looking at him cocking her head to one side "We are here to get stronger, not here to learning to fly. Once you are stronger then you will be able to fly, now let's go find a wild Pokemon for you to beat." Bagon seemed to consider this and then nodding said "Bay" and they went into the grass together, as they were walking around in the grass trying to find something, grass started moving. "Over there!" shouted Meiun, but as he shouted that the moving grass stopped and then started again but this time coming towards them "Get ready Bagon" he began saying but Bagon was already infront of him ready to take on this unknown foe. The foe arrived quickly and turned out to be a Skorupi, this delighted Meiun as he wanted one of these as soon as he heard that they were to be found in this area. "Alright then let's start this off, Bagon use Rage!", Bagon ran towards the wild Skorupi however the Skorupi sidled out of the way at the last moment only to jump at Bagon and bite her, fortunately Skorupi bit Bagon on the head, the strongest part of her body so it didn't cause much damage. With the Skorupi still biting her head Bagon began hitting her head onto the floor and into trees to try dislodge the Skorupi, but the determined thing kept hanging on. Meiun was starting to worry about Bagon, if she could take much more of this, so he decided to try finish it. "Bagon stop running around and start spinning on the spot". Bagon followed her trainers orders and started spinning around, faster and faster. Suddenly the Skorupi flew off and went straight into a tree, with Bagon being very dizzy and Skorupi taking alot of damage flying into the tree and getting disorientated from the spinning, Meiun decided this was his chance and threw his last Pokeball at the Pokemon, in it went in a flash of light, the ball started rocking, rocked again and then stopped. Meiun quickly called back Bagon into her Pokeball, picked up Skorupi's Pokeball and ran to the Pokemon centre to get his team back into top condition.

Caleb saw it. An ekans in the grass, curled up sleeping. Nodding to his Ralts, he pointed over to it. Belle wandered up close to the Ekans, and leapt on it. The creature, startled, began thrashing around, shooting out venomous stingers from its' maw. Caleb hid behind a tree, as his pokemon used confusion. A powerful move against these poisonous pokemon, the psychic move drained it of any strength. Smiling, Caleb walked out from behind the tree and tossed a pokeball at it. It bonked it on the head, and wiggled a few times. Thus, it was caught. His easiest win to date. Type differences made things quite easy now that he had a reliable one on his side. He tossed the pokeball up in the air, caught it, and smiled as the sun made a tiny halo around his newfound catch. It was then that his naming sense struck gold.

"I'll call you Set," he smiled. His snake pokemon in hand, he continued forth in his journey.

Sam walked into the area known to trainers as "Route 2" where a lot of trainer battles supposedly took place. He didn't have a whole lot of interest in battle with other trainers himself, but he'd happily watch the battles of others if not for any other reason than to learn. Now though, there didn't seem to be any battles going on and so he decided that it would be nice to see what kind of Pokemon he could find in the grassy areas surrounding the arena.

After a few minutes of wandering through the grass, he heard something rustle as it drew close...

He was suddenly confronted by an Ekans emerging from the grass which quickly reared up in a defensive stance. Sam quickly drew out one of his Pokemon and tossed its Pokeball between himself and the Ekans.

"Go Baby!"

She affirmed her name with e determined look on her face as she beheld the serpentine Pokemon before her.

"Alright Baby, look out for its fangs and wrap attack. Use bite!"

She charged in, teeth bared, as the Ekans prepared its own attack. She dug her teeth into the Ekans' scaly hide, causing it to reel back in pain, flinching and interrupting its own move.

"Great! Now use another bite and look out for any counter attacks"

Baby opened her mouth and chomped down again on the Ekans again, this time sinking her teeth into its tail, to which it responded with a poison sting barrage from its mouth.

"Baby look out!"

The stings connected, but, rather than sticking, they tinkled like needles on glass against her stony hide and she shrugged them off.

"Atta girl! Now show em who's boss with a sandstorm!"

"Laaaaaarvitar!" she replied as the sandy dirt around her suddenly rose whirling into the air.

Sam hardly managed to secure his own scarf around his nose and mouth and cover his eyes with his goggles before he himself was engulfed in her attack.

The Ekans hissed, squinting through the sand at Baby as it tried to aim its next attack.

"Alright Baby, let's finish this with another few bites!"

Baby nodded and dove in for another bite. The Ekans was too distracted by the sandstorm and didn't notice until it was too late and her jaws were clamping down around its tail once more. It hissed in response and tried to retaliate with its own bite, but only succeeded in biting air before Baby, having already released and hopped back, returned for another assault and wrapped her teeth around its neck. The Ekans cried out its name weakly as it steadily fell unconscious and Sam walked up to pet his Pokemon.

"Great job Baby, now get some rest, okay?"

"Lar!" she cried in response before returning to her own Pokeball.

(Rolled multiple times to get more training in to 1 post. I'm not going to catch any anyway.)

Tao entered the area, both of his pokémon out of their balls as they hopped and floated around him.
"Now listen, lil' dude. I need Bolt to get to your level here now, so don't steal the show too much.", Tao said smiling. Shroomish beeped in response, giving it's agreement.
Bolt in return started whirling it's magnets around, steadily and calmly. It seemed that the magnet pokémon was very cautious when it came to battling, as was evident with the fight against shroomish. It scanned the surroundings looking for wild pokémon, and suddenly let out a metal screech.
"Again with the metal sound?!", Tao yelped as he covered his ears.

It seemed to have been done with purpose, however, as a wild female Nidoran jumped out of the bushes, yelping at the sound penetrating it's ears as well. It's annoyance instantly turned to aggression seeing the source of the sound, and it jumped at Bolt to scratch it. The claws hardly left a scratch on it's steel however, and as it took the hit it had began charging energy, it's magnets whirling around.
An instant zap was fired, a quick thundershock as the Nidoran fell to the ground, followed with a tackle soon after. The thundershock weakened the nidoran, having almost brough it to the ground, but the tackle quickly finished it as Magnemite just dropped himself onto the Poison Pin Pokémon.
It's steel typing gave Bolt an excellent defense against the Nidoran's ability.

"Nice one Bolt!", Tao said proudly. Apparently the Magnemite had quite the amount of battle instinct itself. "Let's see how the next one goes."

Bolt blinked in agreement and floated up again. The group slowly made their way across the route to the next piece of grass, where Bolt started floating above it. Suddenly a quick strike hit up from the grass, as a Skorupi launched a Poison Sting at the Steel pokémon. It had no effect, as the stinger bounced off Magnemite's hard body.
"Don't take that, zap it bolt!", Tao commanded. Bolt didn't see any reason to disobey, and launched a thundershock at the small skorupi.
The skorupi, weakened, leered back at Bolt, who just stared back unimpressed.
"Float higher so it can't attack you and keep zapping, Bolt!", Tao said and Bolt followed suit. It didn't take long for the skorupi to faint, though it's leering had lowered Bolt's defenses.

Tao frowned, worried slightly, though with the very few damage taken and the seemingly superb attacking power, he was convinced they could keep training. It seemed they were lucky as a Patrat had approached them first. The vigilant pokémon had probably spot them before any other pokémon could and chose to oppose them. Bolt wouldn't have it, however, and swiftly launched it's thundershock down on the patrat, who could only leer in return.
His defenses were weakened alot, yet the steel type pokémon had nothing to fear as the wild patrat launched it's body at it in a tackle. With a quick tackle in return, Bolt finished the job and made some metallic noises to signify it's victory.

It floated over to Tao, noting it was quite bored from these encounters, when it noticed a second nidoran charging at Tao from behind. Most likely it was a friend from the one they had defeated before, and angered by her friend's defeat.
Bolt frowned, and quickly spun it's magnets around as it charged at the charging Nidoran. They collided, Bolt's tackle hitting it straight on and the nidoran's claws scratching over the steel surface. Bolt let out a metallic cry before unleashing all the electricity it had stored in one thundershock, zapping the nidoran down in the same manner Bolt had done to it's friend.

Tao ran to his magnemite, and picked it up off the ground. "Woah, thanks little man. You got my back back there."
Bolt tiredly replied, and Tao smiled. "Alright, thats enough training for you here."
He walked back to town, beckoning Shroomish to follow suit. A place filled with poison types was no place for shroomish, afterall.
