PokeCentre B1F RP Area

With a determined expression on her face, Khia walked into the first level of the PokeCentre basement, having heard that there was a commotion going on. Ray floated at her side, watching the area with a disinterested expression, when suddenly, a Pichu bolted out of nowhere and ran across Khia's path. It was too small to have been causing the outages, but Khia was instantly interested in catching it.

Seeing his partner's interest, Ray charged forwards and slammed into the tiny mouse Pokemon with a takedown. Both Pokemon skidded across the tiled floor, knocking over various boxes as they went.

''Careful!'' khia shouted, glancing at the heavy machinery. ''We don't want to make the problem any worse!''

''Dum'' Beldum said, dodging the Pichu's panicked retaliatory Thundershock with relative ease and responding with another takedown. Khia scratched the back of her neck as more boxes were scattered...

The tiny mouse Pokemon was growing tired and was limping slightly. It aimed another feeble Thundershock, this time at Khia herself, and before Khia had time to retaliate Ray had done it for her and took the blow. Feeling a little shaken, Khia reached for an empty Pokeball and threw it at the Pichu, her hand shaking slightly. She had never been attacked by a Pokemon before...

Ray followed the Pokeball and hovered behind it as it rocked, just in case the Pichu should break free and try to attack Khia again...

Luckily, such a thing didn't happen, and the Pichu was caught without any more problems...

Caleb walked into the basement and looked around. While he could indeed hear the sound of electricity flying to and fro, he simply could not see the rotom. It was hiding too well. Sighing, he moved on to the lower area. He might have a better chance there. But what met his gaze was a cute little critter. A Pichu. It smiled menacingly at the man, its' cheeks charging with power! But it slowly became dizzy, falling on its' side with a cute sigh. Ralts had used confusion on it. Caleb laughed a bit, and patted his ralts on the head.

Something zipped by him, like a flash of light. Turning around, his heart thumped. But, all that met him were shadows. Ghost types... they did nothing but irk him. He continued toward the stairs.

Lee wandered aimlessly into the Basement of the pokecenter, not entirely sure what he was planning on doing. Summoning out Sam to have a walk with him. She yawned unimpressedly, like usual this was a place where wild pokemon weren't uncommon and as if expected, a Wild Pichu hopped out infront of them and stopped them in their tracks.
Outta the way squirt! I'm looking for another pokemon.
The Pichu sparked up and was about to use Thundershock on Lee, Sam stepped in the way of it and cringed, Hitting it with a Tackle, the Pichu seemed extremely weakened by this and looked like it was about to give up, thundershocking Sam 1 last time prior to it's defeat and escape after she hit the pichu for a 2nd time.

After hearing the news of an incident at the Pokecentre Meiun headed straight there to see if he could lend a hand to the situation since they had done so much for him. Cautiously walking down the stairs and seeing other trainers around he was hoping to be the one that saved the centre. Deciding that Bagon would be the one to save the day he called her out ready to take on what was in the basement. Unfortunately all he could find was a Pichu running around in circles excitedly, he decided to take care of this first before checking out the lower floor. "Bagon use Rage" he shouted, Bagon ran in to launch a flurry of attacks at the unsuspecting Pichu, catching it unaware Bagon hit it with multiple attacks in quick succession. Pichu seemed to use thundershock, but it could have been a reflex action however it didn't seem to faze Bagon as she kept up the onslaught of attacks. Suddenly the Pichu fell over unconscious, Bagon seemed very pleased at this and started hopping from one foot to the other very happily. Meiun chuckled and told her "Good job Bagon", as he was about to head down to the next level to find the culprit, word of mouth reached his ears that the one on the lower level had already been captured, he shrugged and called Bagon back into her Pokeball and headed back upstairs.

Having heard of the commotion going on in the Pokemon Center from outside, Sam had rushed into the Center where he was promptly directed to the basement. He descended the stairs cautiously and looked around the electrical room for any signs of mischievous Pokemon. Squinting his eyes, he thought he could see something poking out from behind a generator and moved closer to investigate, all the while remaining wary of any sudden shocks and pulling down his goggles to protect his eyes from any sparks...

As he looked over the generator, he found a small Joltik scurrying about. Raising both an eyebrow and Baby's Pokeball, he questioned it...

"Are you the one that's been causing problems?"

The little Pokemon looked up at him and exclaimed with a curious "Tik?" before Baby materialized on top of it, jaws prepped to bite.
The Joltik, quite surprised, let out a screech as it darted out of the way of Baby's descending body.

"Alright Baby! Take a bite!"

Baby leaped at the bug and bit down, catching one of its fuzzy legs and rending from it a pained "Tiiiiiik!" Considerably upset by being so suddenly ambushed, the Joltik released a Thunder Wave in response, but Baby simply pounded through the electricity unaffected, leering.

"That's it Baby! Keep it up!"

The Joltik panicked a let out a flurry of (spider)webs which, though she seemed to find them annoying, didn't really do much to keep Baby from biting down again, this time on the Joltik's head. The Joltik flinched and cried out in pain just before Baby chomped down again. And again. And again.

"Alright Baby, that's enough."

By this time the Joltik looked utterly defeated and, Sam thought, still pretty cute. The Pokeball connected soundly with one of the Pokemon's motionless legs and in but a few moments, Sam owned a Joltik.

"Alright, somehow I don't think that Joltik was causing the issues, Baby so let's keep looking."

Baby nodded with a stern "Lar" and followed him closely as he continued his search.

Tao made his way into the basement, Shroomish bravely walking in front ready to face whatever would come at them. The basement was filled with electric equipment, most likely used to keep the pokécenter running. Tao could imagine how this would attract some, if not several, electric type pokémon.
Shroomish, as a grass type, wasn't one to be affected much by electrical attacks, though Tao himself got kind of anxious. He didn't want to be shocked.

Shroom darted ahead, trying to get into the more open clearing of the room. By doing so, it apparently startled a little pichu, trying to learn how to charge energy from the electric devices. The small mouse pokémon was usually rather inept at this untill it evolved, and thus with the shock of running into the Shroomish, it let out a flash of sparks.
Shroomish shrugged off the attack and frowned at the pichu, who crawled to get back to it's feet. It seemed brave, as it tried to launch another thundershock, but with most of it's energy being released instantly he needed to charge himself before he could attack again.

Shroom wanted to absorb the little guy, but tao remembered something. Usually these small pokémon have lower defenses and special defenses. Shroomish seemed to be a bit bulkier, so this oughtta work.
"Shroom, use tackle!", he exclaimed.
The mushroom looked confused for a second, as he wasn't familliar with this command, but soon charged the little pichu, tackling it to the ground. The pichu took heavy damage, and Shroomish turned around for another attack. In desperate defense, the mouse let out another shock, but it wasn't enough to fend off the bulky mushroom.
As it got tackled onto the ground, the pichu fainted and shroomish nodded in acceptance of this fact.

"Nice work, little guy.", Tao smiled.

Tao returned from the floor below, dissappointment written on his face. He used to like Rattata, but not when he was looking for more special pokémon. Maybe he'd get lucky here.

His face turned to glee as he saw a stray magnemite floating around. Instantly, he called out.
"Shroomish! Tackle!".

The mushroom launched up, knocking into the magnemite. It clearly wasn't that effective, but the magnemite couldn't be too stro-.... A bolt of thundershock flashed and hit Shroomish head on. "Shroom!", Tao exclaimed, surprised by the sudden force coming from the magnet pokémon.
A boastfull beep sounded in response, as Shroomish shrugged off the attack. it was clearly stronger than the pichu from before, but Shroom remained a grass pokémon.
The magnemite's single eye settled on the shroomish now, showing a cold and calculating stare hiddem underneath a lazily half open eye.
"It's steel typing gives it resistance to your attacks, shroom. Be careful!", Tao said, only now realising what he had sent his pokémon in to. And he left the other pokémon in the box too.... He bit his lip in worry.
The magnemite sped up, tackling Shroomish to the ground, clearly hurting the mushroom pokémon, but he wasn't about to let up. An absorb followed the magnemite, giving part of it's strength back to shroomish. It was nowhere near as much as usual though.
The magnemite let out an earscreeching metallic sound, and Tao covered his ears. Shroomish seemed definitely affected by it, but didn't let up the absorbing attack. His defenses were lowered, but the magnemite seemed to want to finish it with one blow, keeping up the screeching sound to make shroomish's defenses weaker.
Shroomish regained more and more health, but could feel his defenses lowering. The magnemite was weak too now, slowly having been drained from his health, but it had calculated this far. The magnets on it's side began rotating, sparks flying from them as it was about to launch a finishing thundershock.
The electricity build and build, but shroomish stood bravely, thinking he could take it.

The magnemite readied his magnets and....
engulved in red light, it got sucked into a pokéball, as Tao wouldn't let his one pokémon be shocked to death. The ball fell to the ground, shaking slowly.
It only took one rocking movement before the ball broke open, however, letting out the magnemite as it screeched it's metal parts over eachother. It stared at the trainer, realising it had forgotten all about him.
"Shit....", tao mumbled, realising this magnemite might do them in. Untill from behind he saw a small thing charging.

Shroomish lept up in to the sky, and tackled the magnemite to the ground with all it's weight. Having taken damage from the continuous stream of absorb, the magnemite must've been more worn out than it showed under it's cold metallic exterior. It laid knocked out cold on the ground, the mushroom pokémon standing proudly above it for it's so many-eth victory.
It let out a boastfull beep, though Tao knew how close he had been to losing this one.
Quickly he grabbed another pokéball, and nudged it against the knocked out magnemite, seeing it had no chance or resisting now.
He patted the shroomish on the head, surprised by how much the mushroom was growing continously.
"well done, lil guy. Let's get you some rest for now."
