Khia poked her head through the door to the second basement level, another empty Pokeball at the ready. She took a few cautious steps, not wanting to disturb anything, when another Pichu shot out from under her feet and startled her. With a yell, she fell over into a pile of boxes, cursing the little rodent. She had probably scared off all the good Pokemon, so with a disgruntled expression, she got to her feet and left the floor to bandage her now-grazed leg...

Caleb walked downstairs, and saw it. Like a lightbulb, the electric poltergeist hovered there, absorbing energy from the nearby machines and tossing parts across the room, smiling. It looked over at Caleb, and stopped what it was doing.

"Busted! Belle, let's get it!" he snarled. Belle nodded, and the ralts charged at the Rotom, trying to use a tackle. But, she simply flew clean through it. The ghost laughed a bit. Caleb called back to Belle. "It's a ghost type Belle, a ghost type!"

Belle scoffed a bit in mockery, and got up. Staring at the Rotom through her bangs, she launched a confusion assault at the Rotom. But, it zipped into one of the nearby machines, and took it over. The furnace coming to life, the fires in its' belly raged as the buttons grew to resemble the rotom's eyes. From the wire that extended out the back shot a bolt of static which wrapped around Belle. The poor pokemon shook, and fell to the ground. It struggled to move.

Thunder Wave!

The rotom shot from the furnace to a nearby fan which would normally cool down the nearby equipment. The wire detaching from the wall, it began to fly through the air, ad shot another bolt of thunder at the rotom, which shook the ground around it, launching the poor pokemon away. But this was the opening rotom needed. Caleb nodded to it, and sure enough, the Rotom dove out of the fan towards another machine. But by now, it was too late for it, as its' strategy was discovered. Ralts could not move, but her mind could. An orb of psychic energy wrapped around the rotom, pulsating. Confusion. The ghost type got hit, and it was hit HARD. It slowly hovered to the ground, dazed and confused. Caleb tossed a pokeball at it. It wiggled a few times, but it broke free!

The man snarled. The rotom was angry, and began tossing random objects around the room in a ghostly uproar. Caleb ran to his ralts, grabbed her, and dove behind a nearby machine as screws, nails, nuts, bolts, and machine parts flew through the dark room, illuminated only by the rotom. They had to stop it. Caleb Ran up to it, and punched it in the face with his pokeball, getting hit in his own face by a nail, which slid across his cheek, drawing blood.

Holding the ball shut with his hand, the Rotom was caught.

"Pokemon like you need kept under a close eye. Don't cross me again."

Sam descended to the lower level of the Pokemon Center's Basement with Baby closely in tow. The room, for the most part, looked a lot like the one just above it, but, considering that Sam had just checked that room, the culprit guilty of the outages was very possibly in the lower chamber. Looking about, he heard Baby whisper a hushed "laaaar..." and turned to look at her. She was pointing at a dark corner of the room where there seemed to be something flashing, as if there was some kind of sparking machinery.

Sam frowned and returned Baby to her Pokeball as he returned upstairs.

Moving down from the severe dissappointing encounter with a small little pichu upstairs, Tao and Shroomish found themselves looking for another encounter on the B2 floor.

But no. It was a rattata that encountered them first. It already looked stronger than the one that had forced himself into Tao's pokéballs, but Tao wouldn't have it. His face frowned with dissapproval, for as far as one could see with his hair in the way, making him look alot like his own pokémon.
"Shroomish, do it."

The rattata launched a quick attack on the mushroom, knocking him aside, but was hit with a blast full of Absorb in return. Whatever damage the quick attack had done didn't phase Shroomish much more now, disheartening his opponent while it continued with a tackle. It's speed might've given it the upper hand, had it not been a wild and untrained pokémon.
Instead it got hit again, giving more of is strength to the mushroom. It grew weak on it's legs, and Shroomish came closer for the finishing blow.
A swift (for his body) tackle to the rattata's general direction finished the fight, and knocked the rattata back into one of the corners for the machinery.

Tao frowned, thinking he might've been better off on the upper floor.
"Come on, shroom, let's see what we can get up there again."
